Foundations of our life and practice

These gulls might well be guides or companions! What is drawing their attention? What matters most to them and shapes and forms what matters most? What grabs hold of their gut (kardia), most impacts on their vocation, and motivates their dreams, actions and relationship as both persons and practitioners? What might, through more affective and precognitive means, estrange them for the deepest desires they have for their guiding and companioning? If we asked each of them about such desires, might they balance their response with a but!

At this point they might even fly off.

Such questions point in the direction of the deeper foundations we establish for our life-faith journey and for our calling and vocation as guides and companions in the ways of Jesus.
